Human Resource Management: Program Overview

The Advanced Human Resource Management (A-HRM) Program is a high-level, competency-based training initiative developed by MCG Associates to address critical human capital and leadership capacity gaps in Somalia’s public sector, humanitarian institutions, and private enterprises.

The program responds to persistent challenges including weak HR governance, limited strategic workforce planning, underdeveloped leadership pipelines, low institutional performance, and inadequate use of HR data for decision-making. It is aligned with Somalia’s National Transformation Plan (NTP), public sector reform priorities, and international best practices in human capital development.

The program adopts a practical, applied, and results-oriented approach, ensuring that participants leave with actionable tools, frameworks, and institutional reform plans.
